About the Author
Waheeda Soomro was born in Mumbai, India and moved to the USA in 1994. She comes from a family that was engulfed in an atmosphere of music and writing, her father being a very prominent composer and poet in India. UNSPOKEN is Soomro’s first novel to be published. She has been an ardent story creator from the age of sixteen, and this year she has begun writing down and sharing all the stories that have haunted her thoughts for year. All of Soomro’s stories are based on women’s social issues. She seeks to be a vigilante for their cause, using her pen instead of a sword. She lives in the quiet suburbs of New York, with her husband and a daughter.

A Great Story

UNSPOKEN is a remarkably depicted story. While reading, it reflects as if one is watching every event happening in front of one's own eyes. It seems the author is not just writing a story but is portraying domestic and street life of a city in India. It speaks of volumes about the difficult journey women have to travel and fight against victimization, violence, and rape. UNSPOKEN emphasizes to address the issue of the awakening of women openly and boldly. This book of fiction is a must read for every man and woman.

A masterful continuation of the story.

I love how Maggie Walsh gives us the two main love interest, but also keeps the rest of this huge cast in the story. She always includes everyone and I don't know how she keeps them all straight, but I'm glad she does. The story of Phenex and Ryland was one I was dying to read more about, and I am so thrilled that it's here. And Maggie did a fantastic job of going back and explaining what happened from both their points of view, and then she did an absolutely amazing job of bringing them back together. Once again there was so much going on in this one and it was very exciting. I couldn't put it down until I finished. I really can't wait to see what happens to Crew, or Matthew. I love how Maggie keeps us updated on the former mateings and let's us see how their relationships are progressing. So many great scenes in this book. Bravo Maggie. Keep up the great work. I wait patiently for the next one. Okay, maybe not so patiently.

About the Author
Carole Rich is a retired journalism professor, formerly at the University of Alaska Anchorage, where she was the Atwood professor before accepting a full-time position. She also served as chair of the journalism department at Hofstra University in New York for two years, taught journalism at the University of Kansas for 11 years, and worked for 16 years in the newspaper industry. She was a reporter for the former PHILADELPHIA EVENING BULLETIN, city editor of the SUN-SENTINEL in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and deputy metropolitan editor of the HARTFORD COURANT in Connecticut. In addition to serving as a visiting writing coach at newspapers throughout the United States, Professor Rich has conducted many writing seminars for journalism organizations, including a group of professional journalists in Spain. She is the author of multiple highly regarded media and reporting textbooks.

This is a wonderful book for anyone who has known and loved the music of Donovan for whatever number of years. For myself, I have loved his music and poetry since 1966 when I was only ten years old.

I would recommend this book for those who are still able to see the world as a beautiful place.
